Anualmente, producimos casi 300 millones de toneladas de plástico, la mitad de los cuales son de un solo uso. Más de 8 millones de toneladas de plástico terminan en nuestros océanos cada año afectando la vida marina.

El plástico está literalmente en todas partes. Se ha encontrado en las profundidades marinas y enterrado en el hielo del Ártico. Ha sido ingerido por unas 700 especies de fauna marina y estudios recientes han demostrado que estamos ingiriendo plástico.

Los plásticos de un solo uso son parte del problema. Se usan solo una vez antes de ser desechados terminando, en su mayoría, en el océano.

SOBRE LA CAMPAÑA

Single Use Life es una campaña que tiene como objetivo mostrar la relación entre cómo vivimos nuestras vidas y cómo usamos los plásticos de un solo uso. Queremos abordar el problema de la contaminación por plástico y mostrar cómo afecta la vida de los animales y los humanos. Buscamos llegar al mayor número de personas para promover una vida sin plásticos de un solo uso.

EL PROPÓSITO

Siempre estamos buscando darle valor a la vida humana. Buscamos alternativas que nos ofrezcan seguridad y salud. Sin embargo, hasta dónde podemos evitar un daño directo. El uso devaluado de plásticos de un solo uso tiene un impacto negativo en el planeta, incluidos los animales y los seres humanos. Un planeta sano resulta en una vida sana. La importancia de encontrar alternativas a los plásticos de un solo uso brinda oportunidades para extender la vida en la Tierra y disminuir la presencia de plástico en los océanos.

Annually, we produce almost 300 million tons of plastic, half of which are for single use. More than 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year affecting marine life.

Plastic is literally everywhere. It has been found in the deep sea and buried in the ice of the Arctic. It has been ingested by some 700 species of marine fauna and recent studies have shown that we are ingesting plastic.

Single-use plastics are part of the problem. They are used only once before being discarded, ending, mostly, in the ocean.

ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

Single Use Life is a campaign that aims to show the relationship between how we live our lives and how we use single-use plastics. We want to address the problem of plastic pollution and show how it affects the lives of animals and humans. We seek to reach the largest number of people to promote a life without single-use plastics.

THE PURPOSE

We are always looking to give value to human life. We look for alternatives that offer us security and health. However, how far can we avoid direct damage? The devalued use of single-use plastics has a negative impact on the planet, including animals and humans. A healthy planet results in a healthy life. The importance of finding alternatives to single-use plastics provides opportunities to extend life on Earth and decrease the presence of plastic in the oceans.
