Estar en una ciudad como París donde se siente la huella cultural de escritores y pintores famosos que hicieron de la capital francesa su punto de encuentro durante los años 1920 para crear la Revolución Cultural es sentir la creatividad y la imaginación a todo dar. Sin embargo, hay una nueva energía que invade la ciudad y es su compromiso de combatir el cambio climático y convertirse en una ciudad sostenible.

París fue catalogada como una de las ciudades con mayor compromiso ambiental y dentro de las metas de la ciudad para combatir el cambio climático se encuentran medidas como reducir en un 50% los gases de efecto invernadero para el año 2050.

En un intento de mostrar el lado sostenible de la ciudad, decidí compartir con ustedes los hallazgos verdes que descubrí durante los cuatro días que estuve por la ciudad del amor.

¿Dónde COMER?

Caminando por las calles de París descubrimos un lugar de hamburguesas completamente orgánico. Tal vez no sea la típica comida parisina, pero ¿quién no ama las hamburguesas? En Bio Burger France, absolutamente todo es orgánico y local y además ofrecen opciones veganas. El servicio es excelente y el ambiente completamente verde.

La REcyclerie es un espacio para concienciar sobre el cambio climático y las problemáticas ambientales, y también un lugar para saborear comida orgánica.  

¿Qué VISITAR?

París definitivamente es una ciudad que vale la pena visitarla a pie. Sin embargo, en el 2007, se introdujo en toda la ciudad el programa de alquiler de bicicletas Vélib para descubrirla.

La cuidad aloja más de 400 parques que son mantenidos por el ayuntamiento y por su puesto, alberga uno de los monumentos más famosos del mundo, la Torre Eiffel.

Caminar por las orillas de Río Sena es una de las atracciones más relajantes en París. En 2013, muchas personas podían disfrutar de una caminata por el lado izquierdo del río, pero el derecho seguía dándole acceso a los autos. Desde 2017, esta política cambió y desde ese año ambas orillas del río permiten el acceso de peatones y prohíben la entrada de automóviles. 

¿Dónde COMPRAR?

El auge de tiendas de concepto sostenible ha marcado el mercado parisino y tiendas como Centre Comercial y Altermundi ofrecen una variedad de productos éticos y sostenibles de diversas marcas.

París también es conocida por sus tiendas de segunda mano y entre las más conocidas están Thank God I'm VIP y Kilo Shop.

Por último, si eres amante de la literatura y buscas algún tesoro literario, no olvides pasear por el Quai de Montbello y vivir una experiencia única en París.

París además tiene puntos de agua donde puedes recargar tu botella reusable y puedes ubicarlas por la aplicación mapstr.

Este viaje a la ciudad de París me ayudó a darme cuenta que más que una ciudad de cultura, París tiene un lado verde que no todos conocen, pero que sin duda alguna vale la pena explorarlo. Recuerda que antes de cada viaje, tener la posibilidad de informarte, leer y conocer los sitios que puedes visitar puede ahorrarte tiempo y dinero. 

Porque más que un estilo de vida, es una guía ecológica.

In an attempt to show the sustainable side of the city, I decided to share with you the green findings I discovered during the four days I was in the city of love.

Where to eat?

While walking through the streets of Paris we discovered a place of organic burgers. Maybe it's not the typical Parisian food, but who does not love burgers? At Bio Burger France, absolutely everything is organic and local and they also offer vegan options. The service is excellent and the environment completely green.

The REcyclerie is a space to raise awareness about climate change and environmental issues, and also a place to taste organic food.

What to visit?

Paris is definitely a city worth visiting by foot. However, in 2007, the Vélib bike rental program was introduced throughout the city to discover it.

The city hosts more than 400 parks that are maintained by the city council and, of course, houses one of the most famous monuments in the world, the Eiffel Tower.

Walking along the banks of the Seine River is one of the most relaxing attractions in Paris. In 2013, many people could enjoy a walk on the left side of the river, but the right still gave access to the cars. Since 2017, this policy has changed and since that year, both banks of the river have allowed pedestrian access and prohibited the entry of automobiles.

This trip to the city of Paris helped me to realize that more than a city of culture, Paris has a green side that not everyone knows, but that is definitely worth exploring. Remember that before each trip, having the possibility to inform yourself, read and know the places you can visit can save you time and money.
